Week 3 of Loudpack Weekly! It’s here! I love my life! Let’s get started with this week’s artists! Woohoo!

Up first we have GrimeyTeezy, another artist out of Richmond VA. I’m super excited to write about Teezy for a couple reasons, one being that he’s a part of the same collective that GrimeyRxco runs, so it is very exciting to cover more rappers from the same group. Teezy recently released his EP titled B4GC: Before God’s Child. Teezy dives into an incredibly emotional performance with this tape, talking about how he was able to rise above the madness and danger of Richmond while using God as his inspiration. He uses beats that match the message as well, from classic pluggnb to sounds that remind me of Juice WRLD. His voice is beautiful and you can tell he really cares about his music. GrimeyTeezy is definitely somebody you should keep your eye on.

Our next artist for this week is Compton Ant. Ant dropped an EP last month and I liked every single track on that. Ant shows off his versatility very well with songs on the EP ranging from deep, lyrical rap to melodic songs that are smoother than butter. The title of the EP After Dr. Truth, is accurate to the songs as Ant details his struggle with some aspects on his life and how he’s grown and changed over time. Compton Ant is definitely one of those rappers that don’t come around too often so I implore you guys to check his music out.

The third artist of the week is LuvPlxto who I’m already a fan of. Plxto plans to drop a 4 song EP on June 27th and I’m excited for the world to hear it. Plxto’s beat selection reminds me of Veeze, but his lyrics are deeper and are closer to the style of old Tay-K. Every song on the tape had me with a stank face the entire time and I was pleasantly surprised when I heard a secret feature from a big name on the album. This is an album I genuinely enjoyed and you guys should check it out when it drops.

For the fourth artist of the day, we have giela who is continuing to make a name for himself as time passes. Giela has been one of my favorite artists for several months now ever since he made the switch from an underground TikTok content creator to a full time artist. His voice is super unique and his style stands out from most underground rappers today in a scene that feels oversaturated. Giela dropped his highly-anticipated album yearn4you last Friday and I was honestly blown away. Giela fully explores his vocal range with this album and it doesn’t fail to impress. A lot of rappers these days don’t have the raw musical talent that Giela does and it’s clear once you hear his music. He fuses traits of RnB, trap, and even has ambient sounds on his album. Giela recently surpassed 14k monthly listeners on Spotify and he’s only going to keep growing.

For our final artist of this week’s issue of Loudpack Weekly, we have an absolutely beautiful artist by the name of aydn park. Aydn is a little different than the artists we’ve covered in the past as he doesn’t rap, but honestly it makes me even more excited to write about him. Aydn has been making noise in the underground indie scene for a while now and recently dropped a single titled blue. Aydn’s voice floats heavenly over this track as he talks about how his self doubt gets in the way of love and his lyrics make me feel deeply. An artist called Lyfelxss also features on his song and his verse fits perfectly on it. Aydn is definitely one of my favorite artists right now and I plead that you guys tap in with him.
