Loudpack Weekly #5

Welcome again to the fifth issue of Loudpack Weekly! Let's jump into the artists.

F1V3STAR_EJ
F1V3STAR_EJ

For the first artist we are covering this week we have F1V3STAR_EJ, who plans to drop his single FMB in the coming weeks. EJ's sound is very unique as he blends melodic tunes with Detroit style beats we'd hear from the likes of BabyTron. EJ bring a super cool energy to this track and it's definitely something I would come back to. When this track drops I high encourage you all to go check it out for it's something special.

ihatecashmo
ihatecashmo

The second artist we are covering this week is ihatecashmo out of Detroit. It's definitely cool to hear an artist come out of this area as most artists from Detroit stick to one sound, while Cash diversifies his. Regardless of all this, Cash plans to drop his EP titled Vantablack on June 30th. If this EP sounds anything like Cash's previous music, we're in for a treat. He uses the distorted, gritty, melodic beats insanely well and produces amazing music that honestly should get more attention. Tap in before it's too late!

KINGJAY
KINGJAY

The third artist that we are writing about today is KINGJAY, who's dropping his single Chicken Wings and Dab Pens soon. This single is going to be ultimately a part of a 4 song EP called From The Pits We Grow which is also dropping soon and has me very excited. But talking about his single, there's a couple of things I really love about it. For one, the name is hilarious and it's definitely memorable so that goes a long way. His sound is super spacey and ethereal and reminds me of old Carti with Jay's own spin on it. KINGJAY is definitely an artist I have my eye on and you should too.

dedwrite
dedwrite

For the fourth artist of this issue of Loudpack Weekly, we have one of my favorite artists dedwrite. I discovered dedwrite around two years ago right before I started college and he absolutely carried my freshman year and continues to drop bangers. He dropped his album death of oxy last Thursday and it certainly did not disappoint. dedwrite's music is super chill and carries crazy vibes that makes you just want to sit on your porch at night and smoke a blunt. Standout tracks like "scribblenauts" and "nilbog" really push this album to one of my favorites of 2025. Tap into dedwrite, NOW!!!!

Young Wabo
Young Wabo

For the final artist of the week, we are covering Young Wabo. Wabo is another artist I've been following for a while now as I discovered him back in 2020 when he dropped his rap single Swords. However since then, Wabo has absolutely blossomed into a versatile artist with making music ranging from the lyrical rap he started out with to beautiful indie and folk songs. Young Wabo just dropped his album Suburbia II, featuring artists like Perry Maysun. The sound of the album is super satisfying and chill as he sings over clean guitar instrumentals. Listen to the tape now!

Thank you for reading this week's issue of Loudpack Weekly!
