Semi45 “Take That Risk” Track Review

Semi45 wastes no time when it comes to spitting bars on his track "Take that risk". Really putting power behind his words, you can feel the heart he puts in every bar. A lot of artists these days will rap about crazy violence but convey it in a boring monotone manner but Semi shows the importance of bringing out that energy in your lyrics. His voice reminds me of punchmadedev but his flow is like a clean smokingskul, it's a sound I like but I've also heard a lot before. It's a hard sound to pull off and separate yourself from other similar artists but with this track showing his current potential, I think he can take it far. I do wish the track had more switch ups when it comes to his flow because it does get a little repetitive and maybe a higher quality mix would really pull it all together but recent listeners have been liking lower quality mixes recently so to each their own. It's still a good song and he's an artist that definitely brings more energy to the table then most underground artists trying to make it.
