Spook’s “Jazz” track review

New jazz is a genre said to be pioneered by lunchbox in 2023 but I believe that Spook's track "Jazz" is how 'new jazz' should be represented. The beat is is a menacing jazz sampled banger produced by Mike Shabb. During my first listen I did feel the beat get repetative but then Spook hits you with a quick switch up in flow bringing you right back in the beat with a clean transition. I love that the track is perfect representation of her name on socials. Giving that big daddy boss energy while the beat gives off a spooky eerie sound. You can hear all types of spooky elements if you really listen like that ghoulish scream in the intro, the sample sounding like a doocreak, and others you can discover for yourself. The only critiques I would give to it personally is less of those transitions from the beat towards the end of the track but other then that it’s an enjoyable tack to listen too especially with the October month coming up ahead.
