Was the Geolgyshi and Nine Vicious Beef fake?

If you're chronically online always looking at underground news then I'm sure you've already seen or heard about Nine Vicious slapping upcoming streamer Geologyshi at his latest LA show. No one knows exactly why this happened but it's speculated for good reason that it was over a girl that has been with both Geologyshi and Nine Vicious. This slap has fans on both sides questioning "what's going on?" and "is this real?" which I can understand why. Between Nine being one of the most controversial artists right now whether it's the lyrics in his music or his blatant disses to artists and Geo being a streamer known for clip farming his funny antics or trolling other creatives, there's plenty of reasons why this could be looked at as their own orchestrated Will Smith and Chris Rock moment. Let's take a look at the evidence and break down why this slap occurred and if it was genuine.

Reasons Why it was Faked: #1 The Slap

For starters let’s look at the slap itself. All caught on stream, Geo was seen walking near backstage behind the door that Nine would go through about to perform on stage. The placement already gets you thinking something is about to happen because they'll inevitably see each other. Caught off guard, Nine then comes across Geo and "slaps" him in the face. Some viewers say he got punched and Geo even says he got punched right after the altercation but later goes onto say in the same stream and in a TikTok dissing him that he got slapped so we'll just go with slap. Anyways, after the slap, Geo's reaction does not seem that genuine. If you play the clip, you can see him just immediately take the time to flip the camera and has the whole cliché "oh shit, oh shit..... yoooo..."and the fact that it happens literally seconds before his performance is kind of a telltale sign that they just wanted this altercation to be quick and easy for the views. I'm no sound engineer expert or infamous detective by any means but with what I can deduct by the footage, I don't even think Nine touched Geo at all, I think he just purposefully hit his camera down in order to portray this whole ordeal. Unless there's another camera angle capturing the moment in a wider view I can't confirm my claim but there's more to it that might lead you to believe that this was all for show.

Reasons Why it was Faked: #2 The Context

Now obviously this attack wasn't surprising if you know that these two actually have a previous beef before things got physical. It's unclear (at least to me) who initially started the beef but apparently it's a classic 2 boys and one girl story. Geo had relations with a girl named Lola who would later ghost him to go be in Nine's music videos. Geo would begin to get clipped on TikTok calling Nine "Nine Victims" which relates to Nine's sexual allegations. Geo would also state " I wish he liked me, but like he backlisted me from all of his shows". Knowing this Geo still ended up going Nine's show in LA, and somehow managing to grab a backstage pass. Now keep in mind that that in itself isn't that fishy considering lot of shows these days sell backstage passes. What is fishy however is all the content farming that is going on. All this seems a little too extra over a girl that never appeared to be in a actual relationship with either of the two. I think this is just something blown up by Geo to help market himself and Nine and maximize on views and engagement. Nine has a reputation for having as many beefs as Iyaze and Geo has a reputation for trolling or naturally being up to antics for views. It's a content match made in heaven if you think about it. Everyone talking about how nine and geo are beefing over what geo said about his girl and slapping him over it, they really created their own little Will Smith and Chris Rock moment. That's not all people are talking about though.

The Outcome

After the show Geo would come out and make a TikTok further dissing Lola and Nine and even going as far to set some of Nine's merch on fire. While that was happening all sorts of underground blogs were posting about it and sharing their own thoughts on the matter. two main comments are being made on a majority of these posts which are about Geo being fanned out over getting slapped and how fast Nine walked into the doors leading to the stage to avoid further altercation. Two other reasons why it just looks staged.

You have the streamer over excited about being smacked in the face by a rapper and a rapper who throws one slap and speed walks away. Not a very credible situation. End of the day when it comes to the streaming world and trying to blow up in the underground, it's all about the clips, the views, and the engagement. I can't 100% prove that this was all just a rigged operation for clout but with everything laid out like this it leads you to question, is this all just fake news for the hype or are this streamer and artist really beefing?
